So uhhhh I think it's obvious I haven't been very active (more like have been super anti-social actually) on dA for a while :") I took classes over the summer and now they've started back up again obviously, so I didn't have too much of a break period. I mostly just come on here to commission art (whether it be gift art or for my own OCs), so I'm kind of here in terms of activity, but mostly not in terms of uh socializing. Obviously, Mid is the more active of the two of us.
Just wanted to apologize to everyone who actually watched me a few months back. I know this account is pretty barren and quiet ;v;. I'm more active on toyhouse... kind of.
BUT SINCE I WAS QUIET FOR SO LONG, someone kept tagging me so I had like 6 (I RECOUNTED... 7) tags to finish which I procrastinated on until 3 days ago (edit: 4 days because I was super busy today) and HERE THEY ALL ARE because I wanted to keep them all in one place.

Mikel Cottrell - Original Character - The Godfather (:<

1. Mikel is my persona (FIGHT ME ON THIS MID), a personification of my, uh, love of the games Mafia and Town of Salem, which are focused around an uninformed majority (Town) vs. an informed minority (Mafia). I made him based around the Godfather role in the game because I love leading la famiglia when I get the role

(except with my luck I end up alone by day 3 </3 I still won in the end though because someone was gullible and fell for my lies ((((;~~~~)
2. Mikel was actually designed in early September, but he's been in hiding (or one could say, laying low waiting for his chance to take over the town ) in my stash while I wait for more of his family (read: partners in crime

) to be designed/finished. He's a family boy, what can I say (not Yuichiro Hyakuya level though.....)? AKA while his lover is being designed I don't have the time to be writing his bio :")
3. As the Godfather character, Mikel is the leader and figurehead of what my sister and I decided to call the Famiglia d'Eden, which follows a "fairytale/nursery rhyme" alias/codename theme. His alias, besides of course 'the boss', is The Headless Horseman :>. We made the group focused around total domination / influence on powerful figures, gathering information, underground alliances, and monopolies rather than illegal trades. Though, of course, they're not afraid to get their hands dirty

4. Mikel's lover, Vittoria (alias The Black/Coffin Princess) is based off the Consort role from Mafia/Town of Salem because my sister and I shipped Godfather x Consort. YEP ONLY REASON! He spoils her rotten with fancy dinners and vacations, new cars, diamond jewelry, etc (aka I have no idea what other super expensive gifts there are soooo). She's owned by Midnight321 (this surprises no one).
5. Mikel owns a Siamese cat named Kaiser (alias Hansel), who he spoils rotten and who acts as the pampered mascot of Famiglia d'Eden alongside his companion Sultana (alias Gretel), who is owned by Vittoria. If you look closely, you can see him holding Kaiser in my icon/his picture :3.
6. He was an acquaintance-friend of Marisa (Midnight321's FMN, CS owned by Rkzn) and her husband when they were still human, and attended their wedding as one of the groomsmen.
7. When we were outlining his concept, my sister and I kept uh arguing (lightly, we didn't actually take it that seriously) which one of us should have him because we were debating between a Godfather-Mafioso partnership/friendship duo or a Godfather x Consort couple and we UH BOTH WANTED TO HAVE THE GODFATHER (I guess this shows our true allegiances to the Mafia... What can I say? We enjoy being evil and manipulating gullible town members

His mafia isn't necessarily afraid of authorities or is in hiding, so he likes having his subordinates leave killing notes (idk what anyone says these aren't based on death notes from ToS) behind to prove that Famiglia d'Eden was behind something. My sister and I had too much fun coming up with them because of the fairytales/nursery rhyme aspect lol

"The name's Astor. And as for nicknames? I don't have any. Who's asking?"

"19? 20? I stopped keeping count a few years ago. Age isn't that important in our business." (AKA I DIDN'T THINK OF IT OK)

"Foods? ...Huh, I don't know, I don't really think about that. I guess meat's good? What? You eat what you get where I come from -- you can't afford to be picky!"

"Water. Though sometimes ale's good when we want to relax a bit and forget about our problems. Of course, most of my friends are gone, so I don't partake anymore."

"U-Uh! What kind of invasion of privacy is this?! Not that it's any of your business, but I don't have a crush OR lover right now, so there! "Lots of things scare me. Death, mostly. I've worked hard to stay alive and harder to make a living for myself. And in the business I'm in, seeing people die is too common. I'd rather avoid dying myself, thanks."

"Sure, I've got a few younger ones back at home. We don't talk much though. I send them provisions and they stay alive. That's how it works in my family."

"I'm scared of a lot of things. I don't want to die, I don't want anyone I care about to die, and I don't want the vampires to win. Most of all, though, I think I'm most afraid of my family. They're terrifying... don't tell them I said that please!"

1. Fire Emblem is one of my longest-lasting favorite fandoms. I love that game series a lot Heart

it's gotten to the point where my friend's friends know me as Fire Emblem girl so they ask me for advice or make me do levels for them lol. My second favorite fandoms are probably a tie between Owari no Seraph and Game of Thrones right now though. (WINTER IS COMING!)

2. Even though Fire Emblem is easily my favorite fandom I gave a good friend the Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia cartridge and told her not to bother returning it

. I think that says how much I liked that game (it was mostly the storyline tbh).

is my older twin sister who goes to a different university in a different state. I like using that as my go-to fun unique-not-really-unique fact when I need to introduce myself at club gatherings or something. Once I was with my friend and the people there mistook us for being twins since I mentioned it... WE DON'T EVEN LOOK THAT MUCH ALIKE LOL

4. I'm usually really busy when the school year has started up

so I only really come on here to commission artists / to favorite art... I'm sorry I don't have a lot of free time so I don't talk a lot here. Sorry to everyone who watched me a few months back, I know I don't do much on here ;v;!

5. A lot of my favorites are just fanart of fandoms I'm in tbh. I like to binge-fave fanart only immediately after I've finished a series, so it's like a history of what I've watched/seen recently xD (Game of Thrones, Undertale, K Project, Riddle Story of Devil, Nier Automata, etc. Something like that in that order lol)

6. I actually really suck at most video games tbh like give me a simple Mario platformer and I'll lose most if not all your lives for you

. The only kinds I'm pretty good at are Strategy or RPG games (Like Fire Emblem lol). My friend made me play Assassin's Creed while she was doing something else and I managed to fail a Leap of Faith for her so POOR ALTAIR DIED OOPSIE. I also spamclicked until I 'assassinated' an enemy just before he attacked me. OK BUT I LIKE ASSASSIN'S CREED STILL I'M JUST KINDA BAD AT IT.

It's usually a mix between soundtracks and Vocaloids. Rin and Len Kagamine are the baes

so it's mostly their music tbh, more specifically mothy and Hitoshizuku-P's works

12. What's something you want to learn, like an instrument or another language? What's stopping you?
I kinda wanted to pick up the violin again or start to learn piano at my university since it offers private lessons BUT THE DESCRIPTION SAID 'AUDITION REQUIRED'... I mean if by audition they want me to show off how much I don't know the instruments......... I'd need to look more into it and see if they offer beginner lessons...
